Veneers - A Beautiful Cover-up

Veneers are thin tooth-colored porcelain or plastic tiles that is adhered to the front of your teeth. Before applying the veneer it’s necessary to remove a thin layer of your enamel to make room. They’re great for covering permanent discolorations, chips, cracks, and misshapen teeth. They can be used in most circumstances where bonding would be used, but they are stronger and last longer.

The procedure typically takes two visits. During the first visit, a mold of your tooth is formed that will be used to create the veneer. Then the permanent veneer is applied on the second visit. Veneers cannot be used if you have gum disease, decay or a root canal infection, but once those are remedied, you can move forward with the process.

Veneers are a relatively simple way to put dazzle in your smile.
